Filip Declercq is the founder of Expat & Co Smart Insurances. With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance sector, he quickly found that specialist insurances - such as those for expats - were difficult to find. Combining his own experience as an expat in Germany and his career as an insurer, he knew just what he was looking for from an insurance policy. The idea for Expat & Co was born.
